Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

      Welcome to vaasproject.com, a Validation as a Service (VaaS) that simplifies data validation for developers. Our purpose is to provide an efficient, secure, and updated service that saves time and resources for developers, ensuring data integrity through clear and informative responses.

      By registering or using our platform, you, as a CLIENT, fully accept and agree to these Terms of Use. The electronic acceptance of this contract, through the account creation process, is supported by Brazilian law. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. This service is created by developers in association with the company Ala Alba Enterprises, registered under CNPJ 34.355.391/0001-89.

Glossary

To ensure clarity, we define the following terms:

• API - Application Programming Interface, which allows integration with our service.
• CLIENT - A natural person (over 18 years old) or legal entity that uses vaasproject.com.
• CONTROLLER - A person or company responsible for decisions about the personal data to be processed. In this case, the CLIENT acts as the CONTROLLER of the data they send for validation.
• OPERATOR - vaasproject.com acts as the OPERATOR, processing personal data on behalf of the CLIENT and following their instructions.
• Personal Data - Any information related to a person that can identify them directly or indirectly.
• Login - The user identifier for accessing vaasproject.com.
• Password - An alphanumeric sequence of characters used for CLIENT authentication on the platform. The password is personal and non-transferable and must meet security requirements.

General Conditions of Use

• The use of the service must be in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
• The installation and management of the API are the responsibility of the CLIENT.
• The CLIENT declares that the data sent for processing was obtained lawfully and in accordance with current data protection laws.
• It is forbidden to use the platform illegally, fraudulently, or in a way that causes harm to vaasproject.com or third parties. vaasproject.com may suspend or terminate your account in case of a violation.
• It is agreed that there is a complete absence of an employment relationship between vaasproject.com and the CLIENT.

Intellectual Property

• The platform, its structure, organization, and code are the exclusive intellectual property of vaasproject.com.
• You agree not to copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our service.
• vaasproject.com does not claim intellectual property rights over the data you provide us for validation.

Use of Credits and Payments

• To use the service, you need to purchase credits.
• Upon registration, the CLIENT will receive a bonus of 100 credits, which do not renew.
• Each call to an endpoint consumes one credit.
• The purchased credits do not have an expiration date.
• It is not possible to refund unused credits to the CLIENT in the form of money.
• It is the CLIENT's responsibility to maintain the necessary amount of credits for the full functioning of the system.
• vaasproject.com reserves the right to change prices, with 30 days' prior notice.
• Credits can be purchased within the platform, with payments by Credit Card, Pix, or any other means vaasproject.com deems appropriate.
• Furthermore, vaasproject.com has the right to enter into commercial agreements to make credits available with or without remuneration.

Information Security and Privacy (LGPD)

• Data security and privacy are fundamental pillars of our service.
• It is explicitly stated that no data sent for validation through the endpoints is stored after the request is processed and the response is returned. The service focuses exclusively on real-time validation.
• The information you send is treated with absolute confidentiality. vaasproject.com is committed to not copying, reproducing, or commercializing CLIENT data.
• Any information that needs to be temporarily processed will be treated with the highest security standards and immediately discarded at the end of the process.
• All sensitive registration data will be stored in an encrypted form in compliance with the LGPD. You will also have the option to send data for validation already encrypted for an extra layer of security.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key, login, and password, keeping them personal and non-transferable.
• The status of the consulted email addresses is not considered confidential and can be used in evaluative research, but without mentioning specific email addresses that could identify individuals or companies. API usage data, without user identification, can be used by the platform for statistical purposes.
• Some endpoints access third-party services to return information. For example, the endpoint for CEP validation, which consults an external database to return the address. vaasproject.com is committed to using only publicly available data and doing so using the best market practices.

Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Support

• vaasproject.com makes every effort to achieve a server Uptime of over 95%.
• System maintenance may cause delays or absence of API returns between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM (UTC-03).
• vaasproject.com reserves the right to suspend or remove the website and services temporarily or permanently.

Suspension and Termination of Service

• The account can be suspended by your request, lack of credits, or breach of confidentiality.
• vaasproject.com may suspend an account at any time, without prior notice, if it suspects any illegal practice or incorrect/malicious use of its services.
• In case of account termination, available credits will be permanently deleted, with no right to a refund. Data will be kept for at least 90 days in the system.
• The CLIENT can request the termination of their account by contacting customer support via email or from within the platform's dashboard.

Penalties

Non-compliance with any provision of this document will subject the offender to the payment or compensation for proven losses and damages.

Validity and Changes

• The validity of this contract is indefinite, and it remains in force as long as the service provision relationship lasts.
• vaasproject.com reserves the right to make modifications or substitutions to all or part of this contract at any time, by informing the CLIENT via email.

Jurisdiction

• In case of a deadlock, the parties may seek a solution through conciliation or mediation.
• If an administrative solution is not possible, the jurisdiction of the Court of Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is elected as the sole competent to resolve any issues related to this contract, with the parties waiving any other jurisdiction, no matter how privileged.
